Former Hereford United owner David Keyte has declined to answer questions regarding an alleged deal he did with Tommy Agombar over development at Edgar Street.
Agombar told journalist Louise Phillips, for an in-depth eight page story published in The Blizzard issue 16 (link):
“When I took over the club… [David Keyte] said, ‘Look, I want something out of the club.’ I said, ‘You’ve took £1.3m out of it, David, so what more do you want?’ ‘Well when the development is done, I want £300,000 out of the development.’”
Phillips notes that Keyte has declined to respond to the allegation, with Steve Niblett, Chris Williams, Eddie Pobiega, and Andy Lonsdale all also interviewed for the piece.
The Blizzard is a quarterly football publication running to 196 pages and costs £12 for the hard copy or pay what you want for the digital download with a recommended price of £3.
