News Round-Up

Kingstonian say they are to seek a new home rather than agree a longer stay at Kingsmeadow when Wimbledon sell the ground. The Ryman League side used to own the ground, but a previous chairman exchanged it for debt before it was sold to the Wombles. A Kingstonian statement says they cannot afford to remain in the ageing 5,000 capacity ground on their current gates of around 400 and they will seek a new home that is better suited to their demands.

Redditch United striker Jermaine Hylton is to sign a two and a half year deal with Swindon Town. The 21 year old, who has netted 19 times this season in the Southern League Premier and scored for Birmingham's u21 side in a pre-Christmas match, is not on contract at the Valley Stadium after the club lost money on injured contracted players in past seasons.

Kidderminster have added a second Director to the board from their Supporters Trust. The 11 year old KHIST have raised £94,000 over the last four years with their weekly lottery, and have a 5.51% stake in the club. Torquay have been granted permission to hold music events on their pitch during the summer. Two 3,000 capacity outdoor music licences have been granted to the club.

The completion of FC United of Manchester's new ground has been delayed until February. The £5.5m 4,400 capacity ground was due to be open in September before delays in delivery of materials and the construction pushed the date back to December and then to mid-February.

Former Bulls striker Jake Harris has rejoined Frome Town from Weston Super Mare. The former Newport man made only one senior appearance for the Bulls, immediately joining Paulton Rovers on loan after signing a deal under Martin Foyle.
