Important Meeting For Hereford Supporters Tonight

Probably one of the most important meetings of 'Hereford' supporters will be held this evening.

The meeting, organised by HUST but open to all fans, is to discuss the proposals for 'Hereford FC'.

Jon Hale, leader of the business consortium hoping to obtain the lease of Edgar Street, will give a presentation of their plans.

It is being held at the Welsh Club, opposite Asda, and will start at 7.30pm.

The Agenda:

Introduction

Presentation from Jon Hale, leader of the business consortium

Presentation from Chris Williams, chairman of HUST

Q&A.

HUST hope to stream the meeting live across the internet, but they won't know for certain whether it is technically possible until just before the meeting starts.

They will inform supporters through Twitter if it is possible, so please follow the @hufctrust account or check out their Tweets on the http://www.hufctrust.co.uk/ homepage for a link to live coverage if it is possible.

Update 5pm: Local MP Jesse Norman isn't able to be at this evening's meeting but has tweeted the following:

'Gutted not to be at the mtg tonight. Very important Trust is able to take independent legal advice on deal to protect members and fans'

Meanwhile Cllr Jim Kenyon has tweeted:

'Council has to show all options for Edgar St however don't get bogged down tonight by it work out any issues and come out utd'
