In a series of tweets following last night's meeting with the Hereford United Supporters Trust, Hereford FC has asked supporters to give them time to make sure their proposals for a new club based at Edgar Street are viable.
'We're pleased the @hufctrust board offered their support to our proposal after excellent discussions at the meeting with them last night.
'However, we completely understand why many fans continue to have
questions and concerns about the safeguards in place to protect the
club.
'We are monitoring the many valid points being raised on forums and
social media and will put together some Q&As for our website ASAP.
'Please bear with us though, this process is not simple and the last
thing we want to do is accidentally mislead people with inaccurate info.'
Meanwhile Trust vice-chairman Martin Watson has told BBC Hereford and Worcester that there isn't too much time to get everything right because the FA need to receive an application by March 1st.
"It's less than eight weeks," said Watson.
"We're getting this done as fast as we possibly can.
"If there are other bids out there, if they want the HUST membership, now around 1300, to be involved then they treally need to get in touch as soon as possible.".
