Hereford United manager Jon Taylor returns to a familiar ground when his side travels to Banbury United tonight.
Taylor had two spells at Banbury, most recently as assistant to manager Edwin Stein. Stein was dismissed earlier in the season, replaced by coach Paul Davis who briefly joined Taylor at Edgar Street in the summer.
Physio Malcolm Cowell is also a former Banbury man, while defender Delroy Gordon also lists the Puritans amongst his list of clubs. Taylor will be looking for his side to score their first goal in four games against the league's bottom side to stave off an early threat of relegation.
Banbury have won only two of eight home matches this term, and are also looking for their first official goal in four games. After three blank scorelines, they did net in Saturday's abandoned match with Slough. A 15 year old has been interviewed by Police after a bottle was allegedly thrown at the referee to cause the abandonment.
Davis has added midfielder Ben Whitehead to his squad, bringing the 20 year old former Swindon Town trainee from lower graded Didcot Town.
