Taylor Blames "Incidents Beyond My Control" For Team Changes

Hereford United manager Jon Taylor has blamed "incidents beyond my control" for continual changes to his starting XI.

With the club continuing to decline to issue such a basic thing as a current squad list, with 35 players now having been used this season, Taylor has been unable to name a settled starting XI with only goalkeeper Luke Williams a regular feature in the same position.

Taylor has confirmed that Dequon Eubanks and Nathaniel Lewars have left the club, along with Blake Thompson - whose only appearance on a teamsheet was as an unused sub more than six weeks ago.

The roller shutter on the main entrance at Edgar Street was shut all day yesterday, with further off-field staff members claimed to have quit their jobs this week due to non-payment of wages.

The team travel to Bideford tomorrow, a club worse off than them in the table but with a better goalscoring record. Taylor's men have only managed an average of a goal a game in the League, and only four goals away from home in five games.

Bideford come into the game having netted nearly two goals a game, but on a run of four straight defeats with manager Sean Joyce able to recall four players who were unable to play in their midweek loss to Burnham. Forward Sean Downing, one of the four, is the second top scorer in the division with seven.
