Hereford United manager Peter Beadle spoke to BBC Hereford and Worcester after last night's 1-0 defeat at Tamworth.

 "I am angry and frustrated but once we got to grips with the game I thought we did really well," he said.

"Their keeper has won the man of the match award.

"The result is the real killer. The last goal-mouth scramble shows where we have been lacking for a long time now.  

"We failed to put the ball in the back of the net and in my very short time of doing the first team here that has been our biggest problem.

"You look at Aldershot, they've got a twenty goal striker in their team.

"We haven't got that at the moment.

"We're getting in chances in good positions and good areas of the pitch but just not putting them in the back of the net.

"Goals mean games and we haven't scored enough goals all season."
