Peter Beadle has pleaded for supporters to turn out for Monday's game against Alfreton which some are saying is the biggest game in Hereford United's history since the Conference play-off in 2006.
The Hereford United manager felt the support last night at Tamworth was excellent and would like it repeated on Monday.
"There's only so much supporters can take, they're probably enjoying the way the team are playing but at the end of the day they want results," Beadle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"They came with us and stuck with the players. Credit to them as they kept going right to the very end. A lot of people could have gone home early.
"Monday is a different game. It's still in our hands.
"We'll go to Monday, we'll be positive and we try and get a result on Monday.
"We need the supporters here to come and get behind the players as they did last night.
"And make the sort of noise they did last night.
"And stay as positive as they can be.
"I know it's tough, it's tough for us, it's tough for the players.
"All we've got to do is keep going."
