Beadle Should Take Over As Manager Says Davies

Peter Beadle With Steve Morgan Talking To The Youth Squad

Former Hereford United player Gareth Davies feels Peter Beadle should take over as manager of the club following the departure of Martin Foyle.

Beadle has been in charge of the under 18 squad this season and took them to the semi-final of the FA Youth Cup with a tie against Manchester City.

"The best person for that job at the moment is Peter Beadle," Davies told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"Steve Jenkins who worked alongside him as well with the youth team.

"I think they would be a fantastic pairing but Jenkins has a job with Monmouth as well.

"It's difficult but for me the man for the job would be Peter Beadle and get the best out of the players."

Meanwhile Davies has ruled himself out as a candidate but might like a coaching role.

"People know I haven't had any experience in managing, coaching I have."
