Hereford United manager Martin Foyle has said he hopes the youth set-up at Edgar Street continues given 'there are six first years with potential'.
The board have asked for someone to come forward and sponsor the under 18's next season as there's not enough money in the budget.
"There's got to be someone that can come forward," said Foyle as reported by the Hereford Journal.
"I keep hearing about these people in Hereford that are sorely behind the club and its youth policies.
"Even if there are two or three of them that could get together as a consortium then the youth can move forward.
"They've done an excellent job, the players have come on leaps and bounds. There's a bright future there.
"You need to see players coming through. There are six first years with potential.
"In an area like Hereford where you're 45 minutes from anywhere, you need that community link and everyone pullimg together."
