| Hereford United Supporters At Tamworth In August 2012 |
With the news that the away game at Tamworth has been moved forward a day, the Lambs have released a statement about why they wanted the game brought forward.
With a long trip to Dartford on Easter Monday we have with
that in mind agreed with Hereford United to move our Easter Saturday
game to Good Friday (18th April) with a 7.45pm kick off. We have tried a
Friday night game and that saw an increase on the gate and a similiar
outcome is what we will be looking for again. With the team playing two
games a week and with a small squad we must take every opportunity give
the players suitable rest and time to prepare for games. It is less than
twenty four hours difference but another night resting in their own
beds will make a difference. We hope that this will meet with everyones
approval, it may not so sorry to those who can now not attend but
hopefully more can attend and will get behind the lads in what should be
our last but one home game of the season.
