News Round-Up

Departed Stockport manager Ian Bogie says the club's fans drove him out after just five games. The former Gateshead chief says the abuse he received on Saturday drove him over the edge after just one point this season. Wrexham have loaned striker Nick Rushton to Barrow for an initial month. The 21 year old scored three times in 17 appearances for the Dragons last season.

Luton are trialling former forward Amari Morgan-Smith. The 24 year old was released by the Hatters last summer, spending last season with Macclesfield. Kettering lost their match last night at Dunstable 4-1. The home side donated part of the gate receipts to the Poppies' cause while the chairman of Saturday's opponents Aylesbury, an insolvency expert, has offered his services for free.

Barnet have had a planning application on their Hive ground rejected by the local council. The Bees sought retrospective permission for taller floodlights and a larger West stand, but both were refused having already been built. The club are yet to issue a statement on the matter, but are expected to appeal. Kyle Moore's FA Cup involvement with Taunton Town is over after they lost 2-1 to Bridgwater in last night's replay.

Gillingham have lost their appeal against the racial discrimination case against former striker Marc McCammon. An appeals tribunal upheld the original decision that the club racially discriminated against McCammon, awarding him £68,000 12 months ago.
