Janos Kovacs' new side Budapest Honved have had a mid-table start to the new season, but a poor start off the field.
They have won two, drawn two, and lost two of their six matches so far, sitting in 8th place of the 16 team OTP Bank Liga. However they have received a €50,000 fine from UEFA for racist chanting at a match and have to play two games behind closed doors, with increased security at other matches, after already having a suspended penalty levied against them in 2008.
Kovacs himself doesn't appear to have made his debut for the club yet. Reports badly translated through Google make no mention of 'John Smith' and there is no mention of Kovacs on Honved's official site beyond an opening interview on August 24th.
