News Round-Up

Lincoln's signing of released Walsall winger Jake Jones has collapsed after an unnamed Conference side, rumoured to be Tamworth, made him a better offer late on. The Imps gave the 20 year old a deadline, with the player taking to Twitter to say the deadline was unrealistic for him to consider his future. Cambridge have made their fifth summer signing with the capture of Tamworth forward Adam Cunnington for an undisclosed fee. The former Dagenham man scored 21 times after joining the Lambs last summer.

Aldershot were in talks with Farnboro over a groundshare at the Conf South side's ground prior to their Administration, according to Farnboro manager and part-shareholder Spencer Day. Day, who was once on the board at the Rec prior to their 1992 collapse, says majority owner Kris Machala instigated talks. Farnboro's Administrator says his task of finding a buyer for the club isn't affected by Aldershot's own search as the Conf South side do not have the liabilities of it's neighbour, but he is looking to get a CVA offer to creditors this week to get a deal done ahead of the Conference AGM.

The Kuwaiti investment firm negotiating with Ebbsfleet have issued details of their offer for the club. They will pay just £10,000 for 100% ownership of the club, before paying 10% to clear the £419,000 debts of the club, with the remainder written off, and clearing day-to-day bill of up to £100,000. They will also guarantee an £8,000 a week wage bill at the club along with £100,000 for transfer funds, while also pledging to start a redevelopment at Stonebridge Road.

New Forest Green striker Danny Wright says Wrexham's offer of a new contract was for less money that he was on this season. The 28 year old netted 16 times this term, but says it took two months for the club's owners to make him an offer after negotiations started with manager Andy Morrell. Former Bulls Steve Leslie and Ryan Valentine have been released by Telford today after talks with the new manager.
