Hereford United manager Martin Foyle has hinted in the Worcester News that he may have to assess the fitness of a couple of players this morning before deciding who will start this evening's game against Newport County.
The first time the clubs met this season it was a physical battle in which the Bulls came off the worst with Marley Watkins and Chris Carruthers receiving injuries that kept both out for several games so Foyle may take that into account before naming his starting eleven.
Michael Townsend and Simon Clist will not feature.
Meanwhile Foyle is looking for an improvement in performance after a disappointing display against Nuneaton last Saturday.
"I was disappointed on Saturday, it was a poor game. However, we
played poorly but we didn’t lose so there are one or two good things but
we certainly need to be better if we want to take on the bigger clubs
in this league.
"It’s a night game and a local derby so I think the
ingredients are there for a good game. I just hope we don’t get involved
in anything off the ball."
The Bulls are hoping for a 3,000 gate this evening.
