Newport And Hereford United At Rodney Parade Earlier This Season |
Newport County are on a good run of form and manager Justin Edinburgh feels that their supporters could help make the difference at Hereford this evening.
“We had about 200 at Hyde on Saturday and they made a great noise. It
gives the team a lift without a doubt and to be fair they have been
like that all season, it is up to us to give them something to shout
about tonight" Edinburgh told the Newport OS.
“I think we have done that so far this term and we need to keep
on doing that, it’s their hard earned money and if we can bring some
cheer into their lives then great, I and the lads are all for that.
“When players get tired at this stage of the season and they have
this kind of support behind them it gives them that extra tackle, the
extra yard.
“We’re on a decent run and long may it continue but we know that
Hereford are also on a good run so forget the League table, it should be
a tight game.
