Hereford United chairman David Keyte gave a long and detailed interview to BBC H&W's sports editor Trevor Owens on Friday. BN has already covered small parts of the interview but because of its importance here's a transcript of some more of the points raised. First the financial situation.
"Going back prior to the Cup run when we started to get into difficulties with the taxman and the VAT etc which was well documented, the cup run has got us out of jail with that," said Keyte.
"It effectively squared the situation up until Christmas but not for the whole season.
"We've had gates of 1800, whereas I flagged up at the start of the season we needed 2400 to break even.

"It effectively squared the situation up until Christmas but not for the whole season.
"We've had gates of 1800, whereas I flagged up at the start of the season we needed 2400 to break even.
"For all the reasons we've talked about, relegation, the actual performances, etc, we were sitting on about 1800.
"That's dipped post Christmas where the games have been intermittent with the weather and not least people have spent money at Christmas.
"It's been a struggle for the supporters so we've had one at 1400 and one at 1500, so we've even dipped a bit lower.
"So certainly £30,000 per month is still what we are chasing, losing I should say.
"And so the task is back to square one as of January, made difficult because we thought we had four home matches and of course we've lost the last two to the weather.
"Same struggle."
The subject of possible transfers was raised.
"It has been quiet overall.
"I'm sure people are talking about Ryan Bowman, he deserves to be talked about but we've had nothing concrete.
"But Harry has had a bit of interest and there may be something on Harry to be honest.
"Certainly one club has been back three times now so there could be something on Harry."
