Last Friday David Keyte, the Hereford United chairman, told BBC Hereford and Worcester that the club was now losing £30K per month. This afternoon another blow as the game against Mansfield was called off. Yet circa £80K or so in the form of a bond probably due to the club (for refurbishing the old Sportsmans Club) has apparantly been lost by Herefordshire Council.
Recently BN collated some evidence about the bond, sent it to the club and it was then forwarded to the Council. BN also gave the club a contact address for Simon Morgan, who was and still is with a Chelverton company.
It's believed the bond was lodged in 1999 by a company called Formsole which at the time was owned by Chelverton and the BS Group.
Some supporters may remember Morgan who spoke at a meeting about trying to get the fans to back his proposal to move from Edgar Street.
One other personality who was involved in the discussions at the time was Councillor Terry James.
James confirmed the existence of the £100K bond whilst speaking at a Fans Forum meeting in November 1999.

BN was initially told that the Herefordshire Council couldn't trace any details of the bond and it's existence, but armed with more evidence the search has now been handed to the legal section of the Council.
Someone must know more details about this bond. For example who in the Herefordshire Council santioned a part of the bond to be repaid to the club in 2001 after some work was carried out.
Given the current financial state of the club details of the bond need to be sorted as quickly as possible and, hopefully, payment of the circa £80K made to the club without undue delay.
