News Round-Up


Barrow will have to start their Conference campaign wearing their training kit after kit manufacturers Puma failed to deliver their new shirts in time. Tamworth have signed MK Dons youngsters Charlie Collins and Jordan Ivey-Ward on loan. The two forwards will stay for the season and until January respectively, with Collins having played six times for the Lambs last season.

Gillingham have been told to pay Mark McCammon more than £68,000 by the employment tribunal they were taken to by the player. The Gills are still considering an appeal. Hyde have resigned Daniel Douglas-Pringle for the coming season. The 27 year old striker played 47 times for the club three years ago. David McNiven has also registered as a player, with the former pro currently with the club in a Sports Scientist role.

Ebbsfleet have signed midfielder Ben Greenhalgh and striker Adam Williams. Greenhalgh, 20, won a six month deal with Inter Milan in a TV competition, while Williams, 19, has come through the club's youth side. The Fleet have also added defender Jay Foulkes, with the 22 year old former sprinter having been with Hayes and Yeading last term. Barrow have signed winger Aaron Cole on non-contract terms. The 19 year old spent much of last term on loan at Stockport from Derby before being released in the summer.

Port Vale defender Dave Artell has quit the club after refusing to sign the contract offered to him by the Administrator. The other 17 out of contract players have signed deals with the club this afternoon.
