The Conference have moved to deny claims on a Newport forum that the Bulls are set for a points deduction.
The claim surrounds Marley Watkins' status, with inaccurate reports claiming Bath City still held his registration - meaning he could not play until a fee had been agreed.
Conference spokesman Colin Peake addressed the situation, telling his Twitter followers: "Several players are in like position in BSBP and compensation fees will be settled by FA tribunals in due course. FA & us aware. No breaches. Player subject of compensation fee signs for new club - if clubs do not agree a fee - goes to tribunal. Both clubs have to accept fee set.
"Player will be allowed meanwhile to sign new contract with new club and play. All in order and contract and registration with BSBP approved."
