Bristol City XI at Edgar Street This Evening

Hereford United play their last pre-season friendly against a Bristol City XI this evening at Edgar Street, kick-off 7.30pm.

Manager Martin Foyle is expected to start the game with the eleven players thought likely to start against Macclesfield next Friday in the first Conference game of the season.

Whether there will be any trialists on show isn't clear. Bristol City advertise the match on their website as an u21 match, with both their first team and u18 side in friendly action on Saturday.

Last Tuesday two trialists featured at Westfields in the HFA Cup but it isn't known whether either of them is still training with the club.

However Foyle has said he is hopeful of adding one or two more players to his 18 man squad including, hopefully, a striker.

Admission this evening is £10 for adults and £5 for concessions, which given the opposition and the Olympics, seems on the high side.
