Trialist defender Greg Tindle suffered a fractured eye socket in last night's match with Evesham, the official site is reporting.
The accidental collision with fellow trialist Chris Carruthers saw the Chippenham man worse off, picking up 25 stitches to the wound in addition to the hairline fracture. Carruthers needed seven stitches to his wound.
"Chris had stitches but was not concussed," said manager Martin Foyle.
"He'll be running again in two or three days but won't play in the next couple of matches."
Only 286 spectators watched the friendly.
