According to the Aldershot OS, women will be allowed to watch this coming Tuesday's League Two match against Hereford United free of charge.
Aldershot Town Football Club has decided that admission for all ladies on this occasion will be FREE of charge. There will also be activity on the evening to recognise the progression of Womens football. The Aldershot Town Ladies team will also be involved on the evening. During the last year there have been big movements in the women’s game with the introduction of the FA Women’s Super League to form the new top tier of Women’s football. This is to raise the bar in the standard of women’s football to another level whilst also assisting in accommodating for the growing demand of girls now playing football, in which girl’s football is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK. However, with limited funding from the Football Association in women’s football all clubs rely heavily on fundraising, sponsorship, donations and support from their clubs.
