Northampton are bottom of the League Two table after twice surrendering a lead in going down 5-2 at home to Southend. Plymouth move above them with a late penalty giving them a 2-1 win at home to Burton. With the Daggers losing to the Bulls, they complete the trio of sides at the foot of the table on 21 points. With the Bulls on 25, Barnet are on 26 after winning 3-0 at Accrington, alongside Bradford after they surrendered two leads to draw 2-2 with Morecambe. Bristol Rovers and Aldershot are on 27 points, with the Pirates getting a goalless draw with Crawley, and the Shots losing 2-0 at Cheltenham. Wimbledon (29) ease their recent poor form with a 2-1 win at Port Vale.
At the top Southend lead Cheltenham by goal difference, with Crawley a point behind. Swindon are fourth, five points behind, despite beating Rotherham 2-1. Shrewsbury beat Gillingham 2-0 to be a further point behind, while Oxford's and Gillingham's losses allowed Torquay to draw level on points with them, beating Macclesfield 2-1.
