Plymouth have signed midfielder Paul Wotton after he negotiated a release from Yeovil. The 34 year old is a Pilgrims legend, spending 17 years at the club until 2008. The Pilgrims have also signed winger Joe Lennox following his release from Bristol City. The 20 year old's only first team experience was at Bath towards the end of last season, where he made three sub appearances in a month on loan. Also staying at Home Park is winger Ashley Hemmings, with the Wolves loanee extending his stay to the end of the season.
Shrewsbury have signed Sheff Utd midfielder David McAllister on loan for an initial month. The 23 year old has played a handful of games for the Blades in League One this season after joining the Blades from Irish side St Patricks last January. Gillingham have sealed a permanent deal for Bristol Rovers striker Jo Kuffour. The 30 year old has signed a deal until the end of the season after seven goals in 13 games on loan.
Darlington's Administrator has delayed his decision on whether to close the club until after the weekend after new potential investors came forward. The established 'Rescue Group' for the club have found a potential new backer who will meet the Administrator on Monday. Crawley defender Claude Davies has signed a new 18 month deal with the club. The 32 year old signed a two month deal with the club in November, and has established himself as a fixture since.
Oxford striker James Constable has told his Twitter followers that he has not asked for a move after Sky Sports reported that a second Swindon bid had prompted him to ask to speak to the Robins. Port Vale investor Stan Meigh, a former board member, has told the press he has been approached to invest more money into the club. The 75 year old, who has already pledged to vote against the current board at the proposed EGM, told the press he would only consider further investment if he had full access to the club's books.
Kettering boss Mark Cooper says he will delay any decision on his future until after this weekend. Crewe have signed striker Greg Pearson on a months loan from Burton Albion. The 26 year old started just one game in six weeks at Aldershot recently, and has made only two sub appearances for the Brewers this term.
