With the current state of both the Edgar Street pitch and the training pitch at Belmont, Hereford United have been training at Ludlow this week.
"The pitches are just not good enough," manager Jamie Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"The players are getting a bit down about that.
"Ludlow has got a great 3G and we are utilising that.
"People say you should be able to play on anything but we have to get as much quality out of sessions as we can because you have them for such a short period of time.
"To do that you need a decent surface. Ludlow helps in that manor."
