The reserves lost to a second half penalty in this afternoon’s friendly against Swansea.
United fielded a mixture of squad players and trialists in a match that included some rare football played along the ground. Kern Miller rarely put a foot wrong in central defence while Sam Clucas, playing at left back was unfortunate to concede the penalty as he chased back into the box. The young right back (Ben?) looked to have some promise while the left sided player, believed to be Romelo De Santos, showed some nice touches and a keenness to get a shot on goal.
James McQuilkin got thirty minutes in the second period before, if whispers are to be believed, making a loan move to Kiddy Harriers for an initial month.
