Pegasus Prepare Footballing Fest for Bulls

On Thursday, 21st July, 2011, Pegasus Juniors stage their first home pre season friendly against Jamie Pitman’s Hereford United at Old School Lane , Hereford , after both teams have returned from trips away, the Bulls to Spain and Pegasus to Exeter.

This will be the first opportunity for United fans to see the new United players in Hereford as they prepare for their new league campaign. Pitman may parade a trialist or two as he seeks to bolster his squad.

To celebrate the visit of Hereford United the hosts have planned an evening of footballing entertainment, the gates will open at 6:00pm for a 7:00pm kick off. Spectators will be entered into a raffle for a £300 voucher for a weekend in London supplied courtesy of Allseasons Travel. Pre match, in addition to the usual spectacle of players warming up the spectators will be entertained by a group from the Pegasus youth section displaying their training drills and routines; this will be followed by a parade of United Legends. Those who have indicated there intention to attend the game are in alphabetical order, Colin Addison, Tony Byrne, Steve Emery, Tommy Hughes, Peter Isaacs, Eric Tompkins from the 50's and Dudley Tyler.

Half time entertainment will be provided by a “Crossbar Challenge” sponsored by South Hereford Audi as part of their match sponsorship with a £50 cash prize for any sucessful spectator selected at random.

On site there will be extra outside catering and bar facilities, together with the Hereford United speed cage challenge, can anyone beat 70mph?

Admission will be £5 with children admitted free of charge. Kick-off is 7pm.
