Shrewsbury have agreed a new contract with teenage forward Jon Taylor after 'emergency talks'. The Shrews have also signed striker Marvin Morgan following his release from Aldershot. The 30 year old angered Shots fans after making threats towards them on Twitter. He replaces Nathan Elder, who had his contract with the Shrews terminated by 'mutual consent' The former Brentford striker had a loan spell at AFC Wimbledon at the start of 2010.

Swindon have signed striker Raffaelle de Vita on a two year deal. The 23 year old has spent the last two years with Scottish Second Division side Livingston, scoring 11 times last season. Former Bulls target Chris McPhee has told the press he is yet to receive any firm offers this summer. The former Kidderminster man turned down both the Bulls and Crawley in January, and says there are a couple of clubs interested in speaking to him.

Torquay are to appoint Exeter youth coach Shaun Taylor as their assistant manager. Taylor played with boss Martin Ling at Swindon. The Gulls are also looking at bringing in Yeovil midfielder Alex Russell as player/coach. Northampton have signed former loanee Ben Tozer on a two year deal. The former Newcastle man played 31 times on loan at Sixfields last term.

Macclesfield midfielder Hamza Bencherif has signed for Notts County on a two year deal after rejecting a new contract at Moss Rose. Dagenham are reported to have agreed a £400,000 deal with Charlton over the sale of winger Danny Green, with an offer from a Championship side claimed to be false.

Accrington striker Terry Gornell has rejected a new deal with the club. The former Tranmere trainee scored 13 goals last term. Bristol Rovers have signed Irish defender Michael Smith from Ballymena. The 22 year old has signed a two year deal after spending his career so far in the Northern Ireland Carling Premiership.

AFC Wimbledon say they have turned down several bids for striker Danny Kedwell as they do not meet their valuation. They have not disclosed a fee, but say it is more than the £60,000 offered by Crawley last season. Kidderminster have agreed a fee with York over the Minstermen's signing of winger Matty Blair. Newport have signed former AFC Wimbledon and Barnet defender Ismail Yakubu.

Leyton Orient have lost the first part of their legal battle over the Olympics Stadium. The High Court have rejected their bid to get a judicial review of the decision to hand West Ham the stadium after the 2012 games.
