Cheltenham have confirmed they will sign AFC Wimbledon striker Kaid Mohammed on a two year deal. The 26 year old has been prolific at Conference level, but failed to score in 14 appearances in his previous Football League spell with Swindon. Press reports suggest AFC Wimbledon are asking for £100,000 for striker Danny Kedwell. The club report some interest already in the forward.
Torquay's local press are reporting that the Gulls have a playing budget of just under £1million for the coming season. Plymouth's Fans Trust has called on the club to give the fans 'real transparency' over the impending takeover. A statement from the trust says fans are losing faith in Administrator Brendan Guilfoyle with his June 14th deadline for completing the sale already passed.
Morecambe have denied speculation linking defender Andy Fleming with a move to Lincoln, saying the former Wrexham man is going nowhere. Swindon defender Lescinel Jean-Francois has completed his move to Sheff Utd after rejecting a new deal with the Robins. In the latest League Two betting Crawley are now 100/30 from 7/2. Macclesfield have drifted out to 100/1 outsiders, while second-favourites Swindon have also drifted out to 11/1.
Swindon have loaned former Torquay striker Elliot Benyon to Wycombe for the season. The 23 year old cost the Robins a fee when they took him from Plainmoor in January, but he scored only once in 12 games after netting 14 times for the Gulls in the first half of the season. Dagenham have signed two players from the lower echelons of non-league. Forwards Jake Reed and Brian Woodall come from Great Yarmouth Town and Gresley Rovers respectively, with manager John Still saying they will not be rushed into first team action.
Rotherham have signed striker Chris Holroyd and defender Luke Foster. Holroyd, who scored seven goals in 16 League Two games during loan spells last term, has signed a two year deal. Foster joins on a one year deal after leaving Stevenage halfway through a two year deal. Rushden have confirmed they have appealed against their expulsion from the Conference.
Swindon have seen a third departure of the day to League One with midfielder Jon-Paul McGovern joining Carlisle on a two year deal. The 30 year old was still under contract at the County Ground but leaves on a free.
