At the top Chesterfield are champions after they beat Gillingham 3-1, while Bury end up five points behind in second after their 3-3 draw with Stevenage. They are joined by Accrington, who drew 1-1 at Burton, Stevenage, and Torquay with the Gulls edging the Gills on goal difference after they lost 3-1 at Rotherham.
At the foot of League One Dagenham were relegated as they were thumped 5-0 at Peterboro. A draw would have saved them and put Walsall down, with Dean Smith's men losing 3-1 at Southampton.
In the FA Trophy Darlington beat Mansfield 1-0 in extra time at Wembley.
