Plymouth have been relegated to League Two after losing 3-1 to Southampton this afternoon.
The Pilgrims needed to win to stand any chance of staying up but eventually went down with little fight with the Saints virtually confirming promotion to the Championship at the same time.
Plymouth join Swindon in being relegated, while Bristol Rovers need to turn over a 16 goal deficit to stand any chance of avoiding the drop. The final relegation spot is between Dagenham (47pts), Walsall (48), and Notts County (49).
All three sides face teams in the top four on Saturday with the Daggers travelling to Peterboro, Walsall going to Southampton, and the Magpies entertaining Brighton.
