Pitman plays for Yeovil In Stansfield Tribute Friendly

Jamie Pitman has turned out for Yeovil in this afternoon's Adam Stansfield Tribute Friendly at Exter this afternoon.

The Hereford United manager was involved in the only goal of the first half when he floated a ball towards the Exeter box and the ball was turned into the goal by an Exeter defender.

Also either playing for Yeovil or on the bench are several other players with Hereford connections, Rob Purdie, Gavin Williams, Chris Weale, Andy Williams, Mark Robinson and Michael McIndoe.

Bertrand Cozic is on the bench for Exter.

It's been noted by Hereford United supporters at the game that Pitman has spent much of the first half talking to McIndoe.

During the second half Paul Tisdale equalised from the spot for Exeter and Adam's brother Wayne bagged a goal for Yeovil while Adam's brother-in-law added another. Pitman played well over an hour for the green hoops while Jon Challinor put in a typically classy first period for the Grecians and Mark Robinson appeared to have lost none of his pace or quality.

A good enjoyable day out despite the M5/A38 traffic on the way home.

Final Score: Exeter 4 Yeovil 4
