Oldham are to cut admission prices to £2 in a bid to halt sliding attendances at Boundary Park. The one-off deal will be for next Tuesday's game with Tranmere, with the club hoping to double the anticipated sub-3,000 gate. Seven local companies have donated at least £500 each to the club to subsidise the offer, which will see everyone admitted for £2.

Barnet have signed two midfielders on loan until the end of the season. Anthony Pulis joins from Southampton after a ten game loan spell with Stockport, while teenager San Deering comes from Oxford after a month at Newport over Christmas. Redditch fielded just four players from their previous starting XI after their wage bill was cut to zero. Ex-Bull Jordan Fitzpatrick was one of the four, with the Reds losing 1-0 at home to Hyde in front of another low gate of 201.

Stockport expect to lose Blackpool loan pair Ismael Demontagnac and Stephen Husband as the pair aren't keen on remaining with the League's bottom club. Boss Peter Ward told the press: "I've been trying, but when you're bottom of the league it's not very inviting." Former Bulls loanee Lateef Elford-Alliyu has extended his loan at Tranmere for a third month.

Wrexham's takeover has collapsed, but the management of the takeover company will remain. An official club statement says the collapse is 'a direct result of the negative and adverse publicity that they (Van Morton Investments) have witnessed.' Serial club hunter Rob Bickerton will remain as the new Chairman of Wrexham, with ex-Chester secretary Tony Allan staying as Chief Executive. Fans doubted the credibility of the newly formed Seychelles company from the start.
