The two young sons of Adam Stansfield together with their cousin were given special treatment at Tuesday evening's Paint Trophy match between Hereford United and Exeter City.
Before the game started they were introduced to the players and had their picture taken with the captains and match officals.
"They wanted to be with the players before the game and loved every minute of it," said Andy Cole, chairman of the Adam Stansfield Foundation.
"They wore the white away shirt of the Grecians with Adam's name and number 9 on the back.
"Adam loved this shirt and the boys were so proud to wear it. I think they will remember this occasion for the rest of their lives.
"As a bonus they also came away with the match ball which was presented to them."
