Stockport are to introduce a player numbering system at the club similar to that of the England cricket team. Each player would then have a unique number dependent on when they made their debut. They currently have 1,284 numbers to issue. Accrington manager John Coleman and assistant Jimmy Bell have signed new five year deals, not three years as previously reported. The deals will keep them at the club past the 15 year mark.
