It has been suggested that Hereford United mid-fielder Sam Gwynne could go on loan to Forest Green Rovers who are close to the bottom of the Conference table.
Manager Dave Hockaday is keen to add a couple of players to his squad and Gwynne is said to be on his radar.
According to the Gloucester press Gwynne is waiting to see whom Hereford United appoint as their new manager before committing himself to any move.
However, even if Gwynne doesn't go out on loan, there will be pressure on whoever is in charge at Edgar Street to lighten the wage bill after previous manager Simon Davey brought in five more players than he originally said he would need.
