News Round Up

No Bulls in the Team of the Week. Macclesfield and Crewe have two players each in the XI. Bradford will decide this week on trialist forwards Seb Carole, Chib Chilaka, and Malvin Kamara. The trio will play for the reserves tonight with boss Peter Taylor saying none of them were match fit when they arrived at the club.

Accrington have denied the charge of fielding an ineligible player in the Johnstones Paint Trophy and will seek a hearing to clear their name. Midfielder Ray Putterill has done the same, with both saying they had no knowledge of the ban. Cheltenham are trialling former Walsall full back Netan Sansara. The 21 year old has had trials with Telford and Derby over the summer.

Altrincham have terminated the contract of manager Graham Heathcote by mutual consent. He was the longest serving manager in the Conference, lasting nearly eight years thanks to chairman Geoff Goodwin's prudent nature, but had collected just one point from eight games this term.
