Sheff Weds chairman Howard Wilkinson believes the club would be a better target for investors if it went into Administration as they could cut the debts drastically.
Port Vale forward Lewis Haldane is still three weeks away from resuming training after an insect bite in pre-season saw him end up in hospital. He lost three stone in two weeks and needed to be put on a drip. Torquay are expected to finalise the departure of former chief executive Colin Lee this week. The former Wolves boss has been on gardening leave since May, with his replacement joining the board this week.
