Shrewsbury are claimed by Oldham to have rejected a request for the two club's Johnstones Paint Trophy tie at Boundary Park to be free admission. The Latics have home games either side of the match, but the Shrews are said to have rejected the suggestion as they wanted their cut of the gate. Bournemouth have paid off the last of the debts of the old club. They were forced by the Football League to pay a percentage of the unsecured debt when the club was reformed, earning a hefty points penalty in the process, but have now made the final payment. Lincoln have agreed a fee with Torquay for winger Mustafa Carayol. The Gulls say the fee is £35,000 with a further sell-on clause.
The Guardian's investigators have looked into Yeovil's moves to seperate the club and ground into two seperate companies. Shareholders are being asked to vote on the proposal without knowing any of the financial details, and both the paper and fans groups have been refused answers. Majority shareholders John Fry and Norman Hayward will push the move through regardless, with them also holding majority holdings in the proposed stadium company.
