News Round Up

Former Bulls loanee Jake Jervis has signed for Notts County on loan until January. The Birmingham youngster scored twice in seven appearances for the Bulls towards the end of last season. Aldershot are reported by Sky Sports to have rejected a claimed Colchester bid for striker Marvin Morgan, but the U's local paper says they have not made an offer.

Northampton midfielder Ryan Gilligan says that a section of the Cobblers fans don't like him, telling the local paper: "I don't think there's ever been any question that I give 110 per cent for the club, always. I don't think that's been in anybody's mind, but I think it's just a personal thing. People have favourites, people they dislike, nothing can be done, but I'm happy with that."

Forest Green have remained silent on rumours that a Stroud based businessman is about to take over the club. Bury have signed defender Tom Lees on loan from Leeds until January. He is joined at Gigg Lane by ex-Chesterfield defender Phil Picken and ex-Wolves midfielder Kyle Bennett, who have both signed one year deals.

Morecambe have signed 20 year old keeper Laurie Walker on a one year deal. He was most recently with Cambridge after spells at MK Dons and Millwall. Gillingham have signed midfielder Stanley Aborah on a monthly contract, subject to international clearance. Luton have admitted overcharging for their pre-season friendly with Newcastle after the £18 charge attracted less than 2,500 fans.

Bury have signed striker Lenell John-Lewis on a one year deal. The former Lincoln man spent four years at Sincil Bank, but started just 43 League games in that time. Northampton have signed teenage Spurs keeper Oscar Jannson on a months loan. The Swedish u21 man comes in due to an injury to no.1 Chris Dunn.

Southend are to sign Plymouth full back Chris Barker on a months loan. The Shrimpers are still awaiting the lifting of their transfer embargo. Scunthorpe have signed ex-Bull Trent McClenahan on non-contract terms so that he can be available for the opening game of the season. He remains on trial in a bid to earn a permanent deal.
