Former Hereford United loanee Sam Hewson played part of a pre-season friendly for Yeovil Town this afternoon.
The 21 year old was recently released by Manchester United.
He spent a three months at Edgar Street in early 2009. Whilst with the Bulls he scored three goals during ten appearances.
Meanwhile 45 supporters turned out for the painting day at Edgar Street earlier today. Photos of many of the volunteers with paintbrushes in hand are on the OS.
Finally the loudspeakers at Edgar Street were a lot louder than usual during the friendly last night. In some areas of the Main Stand they were so loud at halftime it was difficult to discuss the game or the merits of fare now on offer from the new caterers.
