Barnet's top scorer John O'Flynn is on trial with an unnamed Championship side. He has promised the Bees an answer on his contract offer this week, and is also being chased by Lincoln and Gillingham. Burton are trialling Belgian pair Axel and Jeremy Bossekota. Jeremy is a former Derby trainee, while his brother has been playing in France and Belgium.

Walsall have lifted the bans on three supporters who protested against the club's board towards the end of last season. In addition to yesterday's reports of a six-figure bid for Luton's Keith Keane, Crawley are reported to have made cash bids for two more unnamed players. Crewe are trialling ex-QPR keeper Shane McSweeney with a view to handing him a short term deal as cover while Steve Phillips recovers from his operation.

Former Bulls striker Alan Connell has signed a two year deal with Grimsby. The 27 year old has an option for a third year. Northampton have offered veteran defender Marcus Hall a one year contract after a trial. The 34 year old played for Coventry for 13 years, making 270 appearances. Former Crewe and Stevenage striker Anthony Elding has been put up for sale by Hungarian side Ferencvaros after his family failed to settle in the country. They want around £20,000 for his services, after intitially touting him for £250,000 when he scored eight goals in 15 games for the club.

Former Bulls trialist Jerry Ani, who scored for the Bulls during the summer of 2008, has turned up on trial with Notts County. The Nigerian has added clubs in China, Finland, and Portugal to his CV since that trial at Edgar Street.
