The Bulls finish their League Two campaign at home to Rotherham on Saturday.
In the reverse fixture, back in October, a relatively unknown Gavin McCallum made only his second sub appearance for the Bulls to scramble home a late equaliser to give the Bulls a rare - at the time - away point. In recent times the fixture between the two sides has not produced a lot of goals, with just four goals across the last five fixtures, with the latest 1-1 draw the highest scoring game. Adam Le Fondre's goal that day was the Millers' first goal against the Bulls in 20 years since they slammed six past the Bulls in 1989.
It will be the last day on a lot of counts on Saturday. Not just the last day of the season, but also the last day of two considerable eras at the club. Graham Turner intends to depart after 15 years as the public face of the football club, while Joan Fennessey leaves after mastering the off-field operations for 30 years. There is unlikely to be any surprise first team debuts for the pair after having done just about every other job between them and, regardless of your point of view, it will be a difficult double-act to follow.
Millers boss Ronnie Moore says he is focused on this game, but an eye is inevitably straying towards the play-offs. Adam Le Fondre will definitely be missing, and one or two others will be rested for the knockout rounds. Moore's words about fielding a strong side may have been produced after a gentle nudge from the Football League, although no-one should be too surprised if their players suddenly drop like flies on Friday afternoon. Some have suggested a bet is in order with the Bulls wanting to honour GT's departure, but a quick check of the team sheet is probably needed first. Just in case.
