Former Bulls loanee Jonny Godsmark has been released by Newcastle.
The winger is one of five youngsters shown the door by the Geordie outfit. He joined the Bulls in August and scored twice in his first three games, but broke a wrist before the end of the month and spent two months out. On his return he didn't seem to be the same player and made just two further League starts for the Bulls.
Meanwhile another ex-Bull is set for a top flight move. Gary Hooper is claimed to be a target of Wigan and Celtic with a £1.5million move suggested by a number of newspapers.
