Graham Turner has been telling BBC Hereford and Worcester about the 'review' that is taking place at Edgar Street following relegation to League Two.
"What we have to do now is look ahead, examine everything that has gone wrong during the course of the season and take steps to make sure it is put right for next season," said the Hereford United manager.
"We have to start the season with fresh energy, new organisation and a big change round in playing staff.
"There are a lot of players' contracts up and we have got to examine that closely.
"Every aspect will now be looked at closely over the next fortnight to really reassess the workings on the playing side of the club and see how this can be improved for next season."
Turner spoke about the players that have turned out for the Bulls this season.
"The recruitment wasn't as good as it should have been. Players coming into the club, I would have expected quite a number of them to have done better than they have done.
"If you go through the list of signings from the start of the season right through to the end, most of them would have fallen short of what we would have expected.
"There are a number of cases where the player recruitment has not lived up to the expectations and that's been a disappointment to me personally."
Trevor Owens then asked Turner whether the review of everything included 'your managerial role'
"I've said everything," replied Turner.
"So in other words yes it does," said Owens.
"That includes everything," said Turner. "We've got to reaccess everything, we've got to make sure we are ready for the start of next season.
"There's no doubt there are one or two (players) we would like to keep but at the same time we have got the scope to change considerably."
