Carlisle lost 1-0 at Huddersfield, but Crewe drew with Oldham 1-1 to move four points clear. Leyton Orient beat Swindon 1-0 to guarantee their future.
At the top Leicester beat Leeds 1-0 but will have to wait for the promotion party after MK Dons beat Bristol Rovers 2-1 to keep the pressure on. Scunthorpe beat Hartlepool 3-2 to keep the pressure on Tranmere for the final play-off spot.
In League Two nothing is confirmed at the top. Brentford beat Bournemouth 1-0 to stay four points clear with Exeter beating Wycombe 1-0 to keep the pressure on. Shrewsbury drew 1-1 with Rochdale to stay eighth. Down the bottom Chester won at Accrington, in front of 1,100, 1-0 but remain in the drop zone after Grimsby beat Notts County 2-0. Luton are relegated after a goalless draw with Chesterfield left them 13 points short with only 12 on the table.
In the Conference Kidderminster beat Burton 2-1 to keep Burton waiting for promotion. The Brewers will be promoted with one more point. No-one else has play-off places confirmed with the four spots being contested by six sides. At the bottom Northwich beat Mansfield 2-0 for their third straight win but will be relegated with a point for either Weymouth or Woking. York remain deep in trouble after drawing 0-0 with Barrow.
