Next Saturday Hartlepool visit Edgar Street and one of their players collected his fifth yellow card yesterday meaning he will be suspended for the game. Another went off with an injury in the home game against Yeovil which ended goal-less.
Richie Jones will be suspended and striker Joel Porter has a thigh injury.
"Does anyone ever give me any good news? I've been waiting for some for ages!" commented Danny Wilson, the Hartlepool manager.
"It looks like we'll lose Joel for at least the next game and we don't know if it will be for longer than that and Ritchie has obviously reached five cards."
