Leicester have signed midfielder Aman Verma on a six month deal. The free agent was at Redditch on non-contract terms after being with the Foxes as a kid. Bournemouth's winding up order is not entirely over commission payments as claimed by the club. The company claims they loaned the club £25,000 to purchase a player, with the £30,000 repayment making the bulk of the claim.
Carlisle have loaned full back Darren Campion to Workington for a month. The 21 year old, a former trialist at Edgar Street, has played only twice this season. Colchester have signed former Leeds and Leicester defender Alan Maybury on a deal until the end of the season. The 30 year old is a former Republic of Ireland international.
Leyton Orient boss Martin Ling wants a new contract with the club, with only seven months left on his current deal. Ling is claimed to be one of the four people on Swindon's shortlist for their managerial post. Rushden have sacked striker Leon Knight for continued breaches of the club's code of conduct. His problem appears to be with timekeeping, having turned up late for several matches and training sessions.
Lewes will enter Administration 'in the near future' unless a final plea for investment is answered. The club is up for sale for £150,000 and the board are looking for 30 people to put £5,000 into the club. The board have written off £300,000 of their £525,000 investment into the club and will freeze payments on the remainder.
