Huddersfield expect to name Norwich assistant boss Lee Clark as their new manager. The 36 year old former Newcastle player is in advanced talks with the club after the two sides agreed a compensation package. Leicester are claimed to be ready to bid £150,000 for Hartlepool defender Michael Nelson in the January window.

Chester player David Mannix has called in Police after his cheekbone was fracture during a training ground incident with an as yet un-named player. The former Accrington man has not played for the team since August. Stafford have seen two players depart already from their squad, and expect nine more to leave before Xmas.

West Brom are being linked to five different strikers in the January transfer window, with Sherjil MacDonald rarely getting a game. His last appearance was six weeks ago. Mansfield's takeover has finally been completed, with the transfer of shares taking place last night. Chester have re-appointed ex-manager Simon Davies as their youth team boss. It was his previous job before stepping up earlier in the year.
